Hello!
You are all probably wondering who I am and what am I doing here? Sometimes, I ask myself the same question but then I realize I am here to help YOU. I am your 32 year-old bridal consultant with almost 18 years of experience (my birthday is soon). Yep, you read that right. Eighteen years.
I started working when I was 14 years old along side my mom in a small boutique in Great Neck, NY. I was asked to help the women shlep dresses in and out of fittings rooms and run their errands. Because I looked older than I was, I was quickly given the task of handling all bridesmaids (this was a time before the internet gave us all the answers and Vera Wang had a bridesmaid line, prior to David's Bridal). When you're thrown into a room with an average of 10 girls with different body shapes and styles but had to find them a dress they can all wear in a specific color to match flowers, you learn how to move quickly and how to dress for all different types of bodies.
Throughout my time in college, where I was a Politics & Government major (how wild, right?), I found myself wanting to work and work in bridal. So, I spent time crushing the game as the cool 20 something year old who could sell and style brides like non-other.
Post college while working in corporate retail on the buying side I kept up with bridal as it was my passion and decided to work on the weekends so I could blog and have some styling gigs on the side. One day, I decided to quit my full time job and work full time as a bridal consultant.
Years later I have found myself in the center of the bridal industry. Working with thousands of brides, hundreds sold, I knew I have found my calling. I received the best education there is from both the retail, alteration, and the product development side and my true passion is to make sure that every bride looks and feels the most beautiful they have ever been. I have been honored to work with clients from around the world and notable designers. I am your bridal obsessed guru who not only loves high fashion but can you give the correct answers and advice that you need.
