To Flip Flop or Not To Flip Flop?

The Art of the Summer Wedding Shoes For Your Guests

Oh it’s Summer and we are in full swing for wedding season! We’ve got gorgeous parties, stars in the sky, and nothing but fabulous fashion. But what do we do when your gorgeous dress really does call for a sick pair of heels but the wedding you’re attending is outdoors and not on hard even floors? Let’s explore!

As weddings continue to evolve, couples are increasingly focused on ensuring their guests have an unforgettable experience. One trend that has gained popularity in recent years is the provision of flip flops for guests to wear during the reception. This seemingly small gesture can have a significant impact on the overall enjoyment of the event, both for the bride and groom and their guests.

So the short answer to my initial question: yes. Please, provide the flip flops. If you want your guests to enjoy their night with continuous dancing not needing to take a break off the dance floor, this is the way to go. The idea of providing flip flops at weddings is not just about practicality; it also reflects a thoughtful consideration for guests' well-being. By anticipating their needs and offering a solution before it's even required, couples demonstrate their hospitality and desire to create a fun, enjoyable experience. Your guests will appreciate this attention to detail, as it shows that their comfort and enjoyment are valued.

If you’re not into flip flops, you could do ballet slippers though in the heat of Summer having your toes out is definitely more comfortable. For the most basic, you can find it on Amazon for sure and even customize them to your liking.

I know what a lot of you are probably thinking: “there are so many cute block heel options out there”. True, there are, but it’s much easier to find a stiletto heel before a block heel as an evening shoe and it may not be so easy for everyone. So, if you’re a guest reading this write-up or a bride spearheading the attire and helping her bridesmaids, here are some options that I’ve found for you. Feel free to reach out as to where I found these beauties!

Happy dancing! xo
