So, this may be a bit biased but don't mind me. As I travel for trunk shows and visit stores across the country I see a common thread. And, that thread is that all brides seem a bit lost and if I may say so, and don't get insulted, but out of control.
You've been receiving the wrong advice all along. Don't shop at 10 stores. Don't try on everything. Your girlfriends and even bloggers (sorry!) are steering you in the wrong direction. I'm totally going to get lash back for this but someone's gotta state the truth. Might as well be me.
There used to be a time when the bride went to a bridal store for one thing: to find the dress.
Now, the bride goes into multiple stores to do research. Research for what? This isn't a science experiment. This should be a fun adventure to find the gown that you want to get married in - lets not lose sight in that. There are thousands upon thousands of dresses and it's impossible to try them all on. They're all beautiful in their own way, no matter what price point you're in.
If you find the dress that you love, even if it's your first day and even if it's your first store then that's okay. Actually, it's more than okay: it's GREAT! That's the point of finding the gown! Do yourself a favor- don't play "lets beat the dress" and test the consultants patience and challenge them. That's not fun for anybody, including you. Say yes to that dress, pop the champagne and then continue on with your fabulous fun day. Trust me, you'll thank me for this.
